Any tips for us, we have a 1 year old male outdoor cat that travels for the females around us. He is a barn cat and has a brother that does not travel.
He comes back thin and waethered. (he had to have sugery one time after being attacked by a raccon in the leg and her is now fully recovered) We give him canned cat food that has not been recalled.
What will make him want to stay?
What will keep the weight on him?
ps he has a heated barn and food constantly down with a warm cat bed.
thank you
Which one would be best for my cat, traveling with me in the car 8 to 10 hours a day for 6 days or an 18 hour plane trip?. Cat goes nuts everytime she has to be moved from house. So it doesn’t really matter, she will go bananas no matter which one I choose. My main concern with the plane travel is that I would have to carry her in my arms to pass the metal detector and the meowing on the plane, passengers might kill me… Any experiences that you guys might want to share?. Also, when airlines say the carrier has to be small enough to fit under the seat what do they mean?. the space under the seats is so tiny !, I have a 2 year old female cat, normal size. Is she gonna fit under the seat?. Thanks!.
I’m finally going to adopt my pet cat, but its going to take at least 2 hours to get home. Does anyone have any pointers? I have feliway spray for her carrier. What else could I do?
I’m getting read to travel with my cat and dog, but my question is more about my cat. What do I do about a litter box for her why we are in flight. We don’t have one that fits in her crate so what am I suppose to do? We are flying from Okinawa Japan to the US (about 10 hours) then from one state to another (4-5 hours) then from Chicago to Spain (8 hours). We will have an overnight stay in Chicago to give them a brake. But I’m still worried about them.
