I bought a new type of hooded cat litter box and would like to know the best cat litter to use that absorbs odor, is less dusty, better for the environment, safe for my cat. Is a corn type or fibre best. And how to introduce it gradually to my cat.

I had my cat’s litter box in my room but it was starting to stink up my room. So i moved it to the by the front door, I don’t want it to start smelling so how do i prevent that from happening? or what would be a good cat litter for my cat?

I’ve seen these things advertised. After the cat uses the box it automatically rakes the cat litter. Also, it’s built so that the cat can’t kick the litter out of the box and all over the floor.

I don’t care what the cost is. This cat is driving me nuts.

I’m moving into a studio apartment with my boyfriend, and my cat (currently living with my parents while I’m in a dorm) will be moving in too. Being a small space, I know that any smell generated by the litter box will quickly spread, even though he is very good about burying, having grown up in the wild. Are there any specific types of boxes (automatic or self-cleaning for example), or types of litter that would help to reduce smell?

Our cat has gotten old and stinky. I need a good litter box that can hide that funk.
